Tennis at Bay Colony and at Pelican Marsh

Two excellent tennis facilities are available for residents who want to raise a racquet. One facility is across from the Beach Club in Bay Colony. It is a superb tennis facility with six hydro-clay courts for both beginner and advanced players and a fully equipped pro shop supplies all tennis player delights and needs. The other is the Tennis Center at Pelican Marsh just yards from the front entrance to The Estates at Bay Colony. It has 9 excellently-maintained and lighted clay courts with programs and private lessons for children and adults.

Golf

Bay Colony Golf Club is located in The Estates at Bay Colony. Members enjoy the exclusivity of a no tee time championship golf course for 300 Equity Members. Golfing is an unhurried, uncrowded, shot-by-shot progression of play through vast rolling fairways, verdant greens and the lush tropical natural flora of the Cocohatchee Strand Nature Preserve.

The 18-hole championship course, designed by Robert von Hagge, offers five tee positions for the enjoyment of golfers of all levels. The award winning course architect is known for his signature rolling fairways, mounding, elevated greens, water elements and the challenging features that the sophisticated well travelled golfer has come to expect.

In the past, Bay Colony Golf Club was host to the Senior PGA Classic. Today the Club is reserved exclusively for members and their invited guests in a private environment providing no tee time access.

Organized Men’s and Ladies days, tournaments and mixed golf outings provide members with multiple weekly opportunities to play amid the camaraderie of fellow members.
